Hydro Carbon Flow Specialist is an innovative equipment provider whose benchmark design and safety features promote efficient environmental solutions for our customers through ethical business practices, regulatory compliance and thoroughly-trained personnel team with a “can do” attitude.

Hydro Carbon Flow Specialist is certified by the Governor’s Office of the State of Louisiana as a minority owned and operated firm and is a member of the Gulf South Purchasing Council.

How is a good idea born? First you take the knowledge that comes from years of experience. Stir in some problem-solving ingenuity and lots of hard work. Then you have the idea.

But how is a company born? That’s even tougher. You take that good idea and feed it ample servings of more hard work, seasoned generously with top-notch customer service and a can-do attitude.

After 15 years in valve manufacturing and fabrication, I started Hydro Carbon Flow Specialist in 1982 specializing in valve sales and repairs. But six years later I saw an opportunity to perfect an idea a major producer had been forced to abandon.

I purchased the entire inventory of cuttings boxes a major oil producer had fabricated. My friends just shook their heads as I grappled with improving the engineering and refining the details on those boxes.

One by one, I tackled the problems and improved the product. With a lot of ingenuity and work I managed to solve the problems that forced that big company, despite all its resources, to abandon the idea of producing an effective cuttings box.

The result is our present line of drill cuttings boxes which we believe are the best and safest in the industry. Our latest rotary vacuum dryers, IM101 tanks and vacuum units carry on this tradition of innovation. We also offer a complete range of customized zero discharge systems designed to meet the oil and gas industry’s needs. We provide everything for complete zero discharge systems, from drill floor to the work boat.

Quality equipment, innovation, safety, integrity and commitment to our customers in the oil and gas industry are the framework of the vision I have for my company. We feel there aren’t better products or people who care more about their work anywhere else in the industry. I think our present customers would agreed.

We like to tell about the time when oil company supervisors on one offshore platform pulled one of our hustling crew members aside and asked him, “Do you always work this hard, or are you just trying to impress us?” I’m proud to say that “getting the job done” quickly, safely and efficiently is how we do business day-in, day-out.

As a Native American whose people have always had a close relationship with the land and water, I’m also proud that my company plays a role in helping the oil industry meet federal environmental regulations efficiently and cost-effectively.

We are ready to work with you to meet your needs. We hear a lot about partnerships and mutual cooperation in business today.
