Zero discharge systems—Maximum safety
in environmentally sensitive offshore drilling

Hydro Carbon’s zero discharge systems reflect our commitment to quality, safety and low maintenance.

Spark-proof systems can utilize UMWF-lined screw conveyors and/or our hi-vac units to meet regulations for all Class 1, Division 1 locations.

Typical of Hydro Carbon’s work is the example illustrated here, which was part of a job in environmentally sensitive Mobile Bay in the Gulf of Mexico.

Hydro Carbon rose to the challenge of providing a complex system capturing all cuttings from a 48-inch drive pipe to a total depth of over 18,000 feet.

This system operated constantly for approximately two years on multiple wells without a single safety, environmental or downtime problem—typical of the expertise and quality Hydro Carbon and its personnel bring to the solution of zero discharge systems.
